today was my co-worker's 50th bday
we sabatoged her office with obnoxious party city decorations
there were signs plastered everywhere throughout the facility including the bathroom, on the coke machine, and along buck lane in haverford township
someone unfolded a rolling walker, put her name on it and parked it next to her desk
another person wrote her a prescription for aricept (tid)
AND
somebody put this red/purple hat in your 50's magnet thing on her lexus
the nicer colleagues gave tulips, pastries, pins, and cards
we had a fun day and my 50 year old pal is holding up pretty well
i couldn't help to ponder about my whereabouts when i'm 50 and all of a sudden things shot thru my mind...
where am i gonna be living
working
am i gonna be a mother
am i still gonna have simone
how much money am i gonna have
do i still travel with the florida girls
do i take my clothes off in key west
are my parents still living
are my friends and siblings healthy
am i happy
