italy was incredible
it was the best trip ever
it is difficult to write about it as i am still processing all the wonderful places we visited and the great times we shared

eric picked me up at the venice airport and from that moment on we had an amazing time in venice, florence, and rome
we spent our first night in a cozy hotel along a canal in venice
just a little special and romantic eh?
i spent a night at his villa with his friends in tuscany
the next night we stayed in florence then we were off to rome for 3 nights

our last night in rome we attended a soccer game...rome vs portugal
crazier than the linc parking lot pre-eagles game

we now live together in swarthmore and my life has been turned upside down AND IT IS SO MUCH FUN!

simone (our cat) was introduced to her 70 pound affectionate golden retriever brother on saturday
we tried to keep them separated but ripken (our dog) blew through the barricade and chased her around in my bedroom....she ended up jumping off the windowsill up onto my dresser where a lit apple candle was and paused for a moment before leaping over to the other windowsill...
eric forcefully removed ripken and suddenly there was this burnt fur odor
simone was on fire.....well not on fire but definitely singed...i dusted her off and she was shakin like a leaf
she's been in my closet ever since
not sure if they're ever gonna like each other
we're just hoping for the best

in addition to all the excitement and new appliance upgrades in the house ...we got a big ole 50" hd flat screen plasma hang on the wall
