winterthur
took my dad to winterthur last saturday
amazing country estate developed by Henry Francis duPont (1880-1969)
for $20 you can stroll around the grounds, tour the fabulous mansion, and take the tram car thru the spectacular gardens
great place to spend a few hours on a saturday surrounded by
huge poplar trees, salmon peonies, coral azaleas, pink dogwoods, and white snowball viburnums

Got some mags for you and a fun summer book-I will bring Friday :)
Do you know that there are trees planted for my grandparents at Winterthur (as well)!!
I went there frequently back in my mbna days-lots of bridal/baby showers there. V. beautiful, but the showers were always beat.

i bought my dad the book "1000 places to see before you die"
winterthur was the only entry for delaware...so we've cov'd that state
that's pretty funny-de is very small!
unrelated info-this week's newsweek mag listed the top 100 schools in USA-PA not in it anywhere? Penncrest was a no-show..imagine that! Florida had a bunch in there-if we ever decide to procreate we'll move there due to the schools...jojo
hmmm...procreate
i was thinking about bringing condoms to florida this wknd
PENNCREST needs to be a separate blog entry...perhaps a co-blog with tedman
i spent too much time in between A and B wing smoking virginia slim menthol lights (prior to lacrosse practice)
Menthols smokes were v. cool-I smoked in weight room and put out butts under the wrestling mats-bad girl that I was.
Affirmative on condoms this weekend. I also concur on PHS blog-it could have a whole "where are they now" like E true hollywood stories.
they're at the plumstead
lol, baby!
Women and condoms in Florida, what am I doing here?
