scott arboretum

www.scottarboretum.org
discovered a new loop thru swarthmore this am
went down yale to crum creek and along the creek onto swarthmore college campus
the scott arboretum consists of many extraordinary specimen trees and beautiful gardens intertwined throughout the campus
my trail is very scenic and cuts thru the holly collection, under the train, across the amphitheater, thru the rhododendron garden (now in peak bloom), along the rose garden (not in bloom), and the enterance garden
my trail isn't stroller friendly but people and dog (maybe) friendly
if anyone wants to hit the trail...holla back

not much happenin on the campus scene
the bright brainy bookworms are on summer break
it's world peace week
the women in black were out last night

It's a nice arboretum. There are a couple of trees dedicated to my grandparents on campus (although not in the arboretum) because they were both Swat geeks. Although I like to think when my grandparents went there the students were a bit more "normal" than now...
