upper/lower respiratory infection

i am SO excited to feel better...got so sick coming off the key west journey
i can hear, breathe, talk, sleep, and maybe drink again

perhaps i need to work on preventive health measures prior to traveling with the girls...lynn swears by the echinacea-golden seal and orange juice routine

some pics from key west...such a fun town even in a category 1 hurricane
we will be re-visiting again soon minus the hats and ponchos

the storm pic is from our balcony
flying depris was a familiar site from room 217 as we drank our $20 six-packs and played scattegories and cranium
the highlight of the afternoon was a call from the front desk "a palm tree fell on your car"

we put some time in at irish kevin's and the bull
deedee thought she was going to her first "strip bar" on the 3rd floor at the bull and it turned out the patrons are naked not dancers
one of us took their top off

the next bday trip is late november for lynn's 37th
yes she is almost 1 yr older than me and could have been in the class of '86 at penncrest and we wouldn't be friends (this was discussed along alligator alley)
such a scary thought
lynn wants to visit sedona az...it looks healthy, relaxing, and cozy...not sure if that is our scene...to be reviewed by DDLC

CNN--
I shall remain as "non-I-told-you-so" as I possibly can. The important thing is that you and all of your wonderful lovely girlfriends are Okay....still it is with a dispproving sentiment that I suggest that you not so lightly dismiss the all weather-fearing PaynterinFlorida next time he tries to apprise you of the weather trends in Florida during finicky August.
Now can say what great photos these are!!??

Nothing like mine from Stoned Harbor...mine are ruined...they all have this thing in them called the "sun"?...it's really annoying, it made for a hot and bothersome week as evidenced in my photos, and everyone had to squint in the photos too...so mine aren't nearly as colorful and animated as your vacation pics....not to mention it was un-Godly hot...I had to spend the better part of my week constantly walking to this warm friendly body of water known as the "ocean"...wow it sucked. Nothing like your plam tree-falling, $20 six pack slamming week.....oh well maybe I'll be the lucky one next time

Love the pics!! Sedona is pretty tame, but v. beautiful. The party town is Scottsdale-we were there last New Years-we'll chat on that later.
Get your ass out here to WC for some dinner...looking forward to seeing the girls dinner this coming week...
Could you even imagine a life without our Lynnie in it? I remember her first day at Roosevelt Elementary in 2nd grade-she had cool espadrilles and wore Holly Hobby panties. I was already 5'9" with big ole feet and frizzy hair (pre-Paul Mitchell).
Miss you...akjn
