We mock what we refuse to accept as fact.

By the way, Stone Harbor? Phew, beauutifullll weather, ocean temp 77, sunny 86 0-humidity. PinF knows thing or two about the fickleness of Florida weather....

Yes Peck, funny you should ask...Mine was DK though. Sorry the BC/BG was not to be worn in KW, but as I so prophetically announced, it is peak season after all....still photos in poncho's can still be very sexy....I'd be interested in viewing those if CNN isn't bitter about the 85MPH wind lashing it took....

Sorry I missed the bloggers convention, hopefully I can make the next one (it isn't tonight, is it?).

And JoJo - kudos to you for referencing the (in)famous Lobster costume. My last memmory of that fateful evening was wobbling on the stage of the Media Armory, clutching my Best Costume - 2nd Place trophy bottle of wine in one claw, hugging the microphone like Jim Morrison in the other claw, and imploring the crowd for a corkscrew.

I believe if you look hard, you will still find bits of the lobster scattered about State Street. It's only been 13 years...

Pecker-too funny! I think deep in a box in our garage are pictures from that evening...we'll see those in about 20 years or so. I totally remember them not having a corkscrew for the wine! :) Always be proud of your 2nd place victory!
I'd like to think that they found the costume when building the Trader Joe's-and that someone may be currently wearing it standing behind a counter selling seafood.
Good times, good times.... jojo
