my dad is 72
they just bought the 10th anniversary edition of tickle me elmo "TMX"
it laughs, rocks back and forth, shakes, laughs, kicks it's feet,
rolls around, flips over and bangs hand on floor
for 40 bucks and 6 batteries
it makes my dad smile
it makes my mom hysterical
it makes me wonder about their happiness
it makes me wonder about their health
and how many more years i get to be with them

Remember CNN. It isn't the quantity of time you have left with your parents that you will remember.
It will be the quality of that time that will matter most.
If you ask PinF, your parent's owning a Tickle Me Elmo X is a quality memory that belies there 142 combined years.
Your dad's smile and you mom's hysterics seems to be proof of that happiness.
How did they get one for only $40??? I heard they were going on ebay for up to $300!!!!
that is awesome...let them buy whatever they want as long as it makes them happy :)
it makes me crack up picturing the 2 of them playing with this!!!
I got my p's hooked on the HK, and mom still loves the kitty :)
