happy friday before christmas

merry christmas to my blogger peeps
sorry no updates or pics
i'm way too busy with my wonderful life with eric and i gave my cute little casio exlim to my dad
i hope he is snaping pics in sunny florida...i gave him a quick digital camera lesson along with lessons with my mom on how to use her new ipod touch
she also got a nano for her christmas music
sometimes a playlist isn't enough for a different genre and that is how she rolls
eric and i are living large in swarthmore...we have a beautiful frazer fur with funny ornaments
including darth vador, spiderman, and the dentist from rudolph
we tried to convert the old thermastat to a new programable one and had a wire issue
so we gots no heat and have been using the fireplace and candles a lot
ripken and simone are surviving
simone stays in the guest room and gives ripken a quick right hook if he comes close
ripken licks her dish and tries to play with her but does appear to be slightly fearful
eric and i went to nyc last wknd along with jftb
we stayed with nadene....giuseppe was in town from italy

he was our host in milan and we love him
we did up manhattan, went to century 21 near ground zero...eric hated the nyc dept store and never wants to return
we hit barney's, 5th ave, rockefeller ctr, went to a cool bar near gramercy park, and then to a smelly party.....we passed by this really cool bavarian bar called rolf's but there was a wait to get in and we were on the move...i don't know if any of you blog readers have been there but the place is covered wall to wall and floor to ceiling with balls and lights ....i wanted to plant myself at the bar with bavarian libations and feel the holiday spirit....apparently they always have a theme there
tonight we are going to sullivan's steak house for meat
this wknd we are hanging out with our dog, our cat, playing rockband...eric and i are gonna win a tour bus tonight.....we jam out to iron maiden, radiohead, and more
we also have the new cranium if anyone wants to come over and lose
we also bake cookies, do laundry, vacuum with the purple people eater, and play rummy 500 and scrabble
my mom and dad sent us omaha steaks ...........................thanks mom and dad

Sounds like fun in nyc - it's always good to head up during the holidays as there is nothing like it!
